Originariamente pubblicato nel maggio 1982, 'Combat Rock' è l'album finale dei Clash di Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon e Topper Headon. Contiene due delle canzoni più note della band, 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' e 'Rock The Casbah'. Ritornati a Londra dopo 17 spettacoli al Bond's Casino di New York nel 1981, la band provò e registrò al The People's Hall a Londra e da lì si imbarcò in un tour nell'est e nel sud est asiatico, come testimonia l'immagine di copertina.
